Dawn Farm Addiction and Recovery Education Series
Navigating Grace: Sustaining Recovery through Grief and Loss

Navigating Grace: Sustaining Recovery through Grief and Loss” was be presented on Tuesday October 27, 2015, by Jeff Jay; best-selling author and counselor. Step recovery programs address the individual’s spirituality and refer to a “Power greater than oneself” and “God as we understand God” as a source of personal change and support. Participants in Twelve Step recovery programs find their spiritual connection helps them to sustain recovery when challenged with difficult situations. This presentation by best-selling author and clinician Jeff Jay is based on his new book, Navigating Grace. It describes the spiritual foundations of recovery and uses examples from the author’s lie to show  how spiritual connection helps recovering people navigate through adversity. The presentation includes inspiring personal testimony to the power of grace in one’s darkest hours and the miraculous moments that change one’s life forever.
